First Day of School Take 2

Today was K's first day of kindergarten at her new school Calvin Smith Elementary. I was able to take her to school and she was a little nervous at first and then when we found her class room and was introduced to her teacher which was a sub K got even more nervous. Luckily Grandma came to help ease the nervous K bug and help her realize that it was ok. We found her table were they already had her seat at the blue triangle table and found were she puts her backpack and coat. Then we found one of her friends from preschool Jennifer which made K so happy she was then ready for us to leave. Grandma went to pick her up and K couldn't stop talking about how much fun she had and that they got to go to the library. But K had lost her CTR ring the night before so grandma promised her a new one. And of course grandma went above and beyond her duty and bought her two new rings a pink one and a purple flower one. Then that was all she wanted to talk about at that point. So far she is loving it and is so excited to ride the bus tomorrow!!

New Year

Its a New Year and we all have so many new things going on already. K will be starting a new school tomorrow and she was so excited to find out that some of her friends from her preschool will be there. We had her tutoring tonight and she is doing so well. I think we have been taking some big steps but in the right direction. Ry will be heading to Minnesota this weekend so we have planned a girly girl weekend at Amies cabin in Bear Lake then hittin the slopes with the little ones for some ski lessons it should be pretty entertaining. K did so well last year so it will be interesting to see how she does this time. I will keep you posted and hopefully with Britta help I will be able to post some pics and get at least half way as good at this as she is!!!

First Timer

Well this will become the first offical post and hopefully not the last! Thanks to Britta I have step by step instructions in this new world. So hopefully I can get through it! I am obviously years behind in this so I will just start from today. Today was pretty eventful especially our mornings and since K isn't in school and is not in uniforms she gets to pick what to wear some mornings are easier than others. But since we had clean tights it was another skirt day. But of course we had to find the matching bows which we couldn't find the other one so she had to settle for three different ones rather than the two matching ones. Then it was off to work but afterwards we decided to go watch Marley and Me. K lost interest by the end but it brought us all to tears. Then when we got home k was playin with Heff and he bumped her and the tooth the now twisted sideways tooth was bleeding. It didnt help that she was so tired but I told her I didnt want her to go to bed and swallow it like her first tooth. So she let me pull it but she said she didnt like her smile anymore. But we kept up with the positive and told her how beautiful she was and that her new big girl teeth were coming in. But she decided to write the tooth fairy a note to tell her to leave the tooth so Skylee her best bud could see it. So long for now.......
